Would You Like To Know Me More?
My name is Ramazan Esen, and I’m a freelance photographer based in Istanbul.
I was born in Mersin, grew up in a loving and supportive family. I have lived 6 years in Izmir and studied Business Administration at Dokuz Eylül University. During university, I also spent a semester at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VGTU) in Lithuania through the Erasmus program. After graduating, I worked as a sales executive in the private sector for seven years.

I’ve also had the chance to travel to countries like Iraq, Georgia, Nigeria, Ghana, Germany, the Netherlands, Ireland, North Macedonia, Greece, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, and Bulgaria.

In the meantime, I had picked up photography as a hobby—and over time, it became something more. I taught myself everything I know, and eventually made the decision to turn it into a full-time profession. That shift came with effort, but it also came naturally.
Today, I work under the name Ramazan Esen Photography, focusing mainly on sports, portrait, event, and product photography. I’m especially active in the volleyball scene. I’ve worked privately with Dyshawn Pierre, and in 2025 I was proud to be the official photographer for Imoco Volley during the CEV Champions League Final Four.

I’ve had the privilege of creating visual content featuring incredible athletes like Zehra Güneş, Hande Baladın, and Jordan Thompson. Many of these works have reached millions of views online, which is always a rewarding reminder that real moments resonate with people. But for me, it’s not just about the stars — I also love capturing the passion and determination of amateur and youth players who are just starting out or playing for the love of the game. My goal is always to show authentic moments, with honesty and simplicity, without overcomplicating or pretending. Those genuine emotions and small victories are what truly inspire me behind the lens. Whether it’s a professional athlete or a youth team, I bring the same attention, honesty, and care to every frame.

These are some of the core things about me. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. It’s truly a pleasure to get to know you and your game — and I look forward to capturing your story through my lens.
